This is great. Think of this scenario:
1) guy is interested in putting funny entry into an art show
2) guy happens to live in a very conservative town in the midwest
3) said town has 4 wal*marts
4) wal*mart sells pictured animated / singing santa clause
5) santa clause electronics hacked
6) hillarity ensues.

no, seriously, i wish i saw this sort of thing more often. He wired together a bunch of simple electronics so that he could make the doll do / say what he wanted. including dancing, mouth and head movements, the whole works. sadly, he was expelled from the art show. but hey! he made slashdot and got his 5 minutes of fame!
