My Front-mount intercooler custom built and installed by SPD Racing. The job they did was top notch, my power levels are much better, there is zero heat soak. The way the FMIC fits in the front bumper looks superb. Seth at SPD did a fantastic job. Right now it is using an R2D2 blow off valve that isnt working correctly. At first I thought it was a problem with the line I was using as a vacuum source, however even after I moved it to the brake-boost line, the BOV still wouldn’t open correctly, even though the spring was cut, and backed all the way out. It will soon be replaced with a Greddy Type-S BOV that will be recirculated back into the intake path (after MAF) to prevent stalling issues. Compresser surge is extreme with the current setup, but should be gone once the Greddy BOV is in place.
